You will love this excellent one-pot pasta recipe with a delicious fall spin. The sage is a theme within the dish and the quarantini which gives us a double dose of this amazing herb. We use our Healthy On You® Let the Good Thymes Roll Italian spice blend to help punch up herby the flavors. YUM!
Ingredient List:
For the One-Pot with Sausage, Squash and Sage
- 1 lb cupped or tubed pasta, like orecchiette or penne
- 1 lb chicken apple sausage
- 2 tbsp Healthy On You®Let the Good Thymes Roll Italian Spice Blend
- 2 tbsps extra-virgin olive oil, plus more for the pasta
- ¾ pound peeled butternut squash, cut into ½-inch cubes (about 2 cups)
- 3 tbsps unsalted butter
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 8 sage leaves
- ½ cup grated Parmesan, plus more for garnish
- Salt and pepper
