Mardi Gras at My House

Bring your masks, I’ll have the beads and get ready to party with the sounds and tastes of New Orleans. This class takes classic New Orleans favorites and transforms them into delicious healthy versions of themselves.

20% of the proceeds of this class will go to the Rancho Santa Fe Rotary to help do good works in our community!


  • Peel and Eat Shrimp with Remoulade Sauce

    Let's start off the class right with the technique for peel and eat spiced shrimp with a Healthy On You® version of a remoulade dipping sauce.

  • Instant Pot Red Beans and Rice

    A great way to warm you soul! This not so traditional way of making this classical dish is easy and faster. If you have an Instant Pot, this is a great way to try a new recipe in a class setting.

  • Seafood Gumbo

    A delicious bowl of creole goodness awaits you in this amazing Healthy On You gumbo recipe. Full of shrimp, crab, octopus and fish in a beautiful, heart stew.

  • Bananas Foster

    Flames and all we will re-create this magical fruit dessert using vegan butter, coconut palm sugar and of course, rum!

Cancelations & Refunds:

The cancellation policy enables me to bring you cooking experiences that are small, intimate, and hands-on. Any cancellation up to two weeks prior to your class start date will be refunded 100%. Cancellations up to 5 days before your class start date will qualify for an online credit to be applied to another class. No refunds, credits or class transfers will be issued for cancellations received less than 5 days before your class start date, however, you may always send a friend in your place if you’re unable to attend.
