Asian 6 Spice Granola Mix

By Samantha Binkley

I love granola mix and it’s so easy to make at home and probably more cost-effective too! There’s a lot of creative ways to jazz up this healthy delight, but I really love adding spices. The best one I’ve tried so far is Healthy OnYou® Spice Spice Baby Asian 6 Spice mostly because of the pronounced cinnamon and ginger flavors. It’s perfect for granola because the cinnamon imparts a sweet and comforting tone to the whole experience.

The ingredients are healthful, natural and if you use gluten-free rolled oats, all the better. Many of the ingredients I was able to simply pull from my pantry and was happy to be able to use them up. Another bonus, this is a fabulous recipe kids will enjoy making with you in the kitchen.

Pictured above, you’ll see I topped my yogurt with stewed peaches and our Spice Spice Baby Granola. While waiting for the granola to bake, give the stewed peaches a try. Link to the recipe here.
